One of the most complicated tasks for an operator is to perform a product changeover. Components, consumables, feeders, and tooling must be loaded at the right locations at the right time. Many of these different materials are visually identical to each other, making the task more difficult and increasing the risk of errors – which result in assembly defects.

Cogiscan’s Line Set-up Control automatically validates the set-up at each operation to make sure that feeders, reels and other materials are in the correct place on the placement machine, screen printer, or manual station before allowing assembly to commence.
