Automatic material initialization provides the foundation for effective TTC

Cogiscan Track, Trace and Control (TTC) software integrates with receiving or inventory systems to automatically initialize material data upon receiving the material into the factory. Whether Cogiscan provides the full solution for material labeling or you already have a labeling solution, the Cogiscan system defines the labeled material in the database. This initialization provides the platform for effective tracking, traceability and control of material throughout its time in the factory.

When materials are received, the appropriate information is automatically shared with the Cogiscan database. The Cogiscan TTC software works with customer generated labels, supplier labels, or it can generate its own set of labels, including all required fields of information in human-readable and barcode format.

Materials are identified and tracked using serial numbers or unique package ID to enable higher levels of tracking and traceability. The Cogiscan software can work with serial numbers generated by another system or it can generate its own unique ID numbers.

The Cogiscan TTC software can integrate with the ERP, MRP and MES software to avoid duplication of data entry and further eliminate the risk of human errors.
