Cogiscan RFID tags and readers offer closed-loop and highly flexible solutions that are easily integrated with materials, tooling, fixtures, and any type of production equipment. Cogiscan’s RFID approach allows a higher degree of automation when compared to bar code technology, and enhances performance and reliability.

RFID tags are attached to, or are integrated within tooling and materials such as matrix trays, reels, feeders and stencils; and consumables like solder paste, adhesives, etc. These tags communicate with RFID readers integrated in assembly equipment, workstations and storage locations, to provide location and usage information.

RFID tags and readers can be used in combination with Cogiscan software applications, or can be integrated with third-party software applications.
